RSC awarded the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria

In a ceremony on Wednesday, 3 March 2010, Christine Marek, State Secretary in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth, awarded RSC Raiffeisen Service Center GmbH the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria for its extraordinary contributions in the Austrian economy.

 

RSC Raiffeisen Service Center GmbH offers back-office services on behalf of domestic and international financial institutions in the following areas: payments, securities, treasury and cash management as well as electronic archiving, postal services and logistics.

The company´s turnover in 2009 amounted to EUR 44 million with an average workforce of 530 employees.

"Being awarded the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria is the visible expression of public recognition for our outstanding achievements. Amongst these are the sustainable positive economic development of the company as well as the certification of all RSC workflows and processes according to the ISO 9001 quality standard. ISA 402 Type B annually confirms the efficiency of our internal monitoring system. RSC has also been awarded the Austrian Quality Seal for Workplace Health Programmes by the Vienna Regional Health Insurance Fund in 2008 for its exemplary workplace health programmes," noted Albert Gaubitzer, CEO of RSC.

With this award, RSC is entitled to use the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria in all business communications.
